I Cannot Attest To The Jalisco Cafe Details At The Bonita- Location Although I Have Eaten There A Couple Of Times And It Seems Okay. I Like The Palm Avenue Location Just Because It Is Such A Nice Dive. The Mexican Lunches And Dinners Are Alright But I Always Go For The Breakfasts. Eggs, Beans, Tortillas, Hash Browns-you Can Really Fill Up Here For Just A Few Bucks They Always Have Breakfast Specials. There Are A Bunch Of Nice Waitresses That Have Worked There For Years. When I Used To Come In Craving Stuff When I Was Expecting, They Always Fell All Over Me. Since My Mom Is Gone, I Guess I Enjoyed The Motherly Attention. One Waitress Would Always Buy Me A Big Glass Of Milk And Insist I Drink It In Front Of Her. You Can't FAKE That Kind Of Service! Also The Patronage Is All Over The Place. IB Locals, Bikers, Cholos, YES-even Immigration Officers Roll In To Chow Down. To Me-that Says It's An Alright Spot Because That Diversity Signifies That A Whole Lot Of Different People Are Digging The Place. So Next Time Your Cruising Palm Avenue-stop By And Check This Place Out. Just Like Yelper Karla A. Said: It's Like Walking Into A Kitchen In Tijuana. I Have Been To Mexico So Many Times, That Reality Doesn't Spook Me. For A Homey, Tasty, And Authentic Dining Experience, I Recommend Jalisco Cafe.

My Motivation For Getting Up For Sunday Mass? Jalisco Cafe (seriously). Sunday's Are Packed In This Tiny Restaurant. My Family And I Have Waited 20 Minutes At Most For A Table. Within Minutes Of Sitting Down, The Waitress Greets You And Takes Your Drink Orders. She Also Brings The Obligatory Chips And Salsa. Take Note El Indio, This Is What REAL Chips And Salsa Should Taste Like. A Glance At The Menu Might Make You Overwhelmed. However, Stick To The Breakfast Section And I Promise You Won't Be Disappointed. Here Are My Recommendations: - Hungover? Definitely Score Yourself A Plate Of Menudo! The Plates Are Huge And Comes With Tortillas, Oregano, Cilantro And Cebolla To Your Liking. A Big Meal That's Definitely Worth Every Penny. - Not Hungover? Try The Chilaquiles En Salsa Roja Con Huevos Revueltos [red Sauce Chilaquiles With Scrambled Eggs]. This Huge Platter Comes With Frijoles [beans] And Pair Beautifully Together. I Still Think My Mom's Are The Best, But These Are Not That Bad Either. My Favorite Breakfast Dish [huevos Rancheros] Sadly Does Not Make The Recommended List. The Salsa They Use Lacks Taste. Mine Are Better (no Joke). Usually The Food Comes In A Timely Manner And The Staff Is Always Accommodating. Jalisco Cafe: The Post Church Breakfast Motivator!

This Is About Original As You Can Get. The Food Is So Close To Home And Is A Great Price. The Place Is In Need Of A Face Lift But If You Can Look Past That You Will Enjoy The Food. I Have Also Been To The Bonita Location And Hands Down The Service Is 10 Times Better In Imperial Beach.
